Two layers of this for sound dampening. Very important when you have a metal roof! It is designed specifically for application in wall/floor systems where acoustical performance and fire resistance are the primary concerns.
They installed the AFB first.
Cutting it to fit in between the rafters.
One layer of ComfortBatt R23 on top of that. It does not store or transfer moisture, and it’s completely resistant to mold, mildew, rot and bacterial growth.
It’s finally done. It looks like it’s wearing a warm fuzzy cap…because it is! The roof will be installed tomorrow!
